The property can be entered at two levels. The upper apartment includes its own entrance from the road into a hallway off which there is a bathroom and shower room and which leads to a large open plan kitchen and lounge area that was previously the grange of the farm. It retains many original features including the original beams with high sloping roof and stairs to second floor accommodation. The apartment has underfloor central heating with convectors in all rooms if required. It is fully insulated including double glazing and shutters.
There is a log burning stove in the open plan lounge and an L shaped seating arrangement for eight to ten people. There are four bedrooms in this apartment area but an extended apartment can be rented including two further bedrooms one double and the other twin.
The ground floor apartment was the original living space for the family and has also been renovated. It has its own front entrance into a kitchen/dining area off which there is a bathroom and separate shower room. Stairs lead from the kitchen to 2 bedrooms on the first floor , one double and one twin. The downstairs lounge has comfortable seating and there are two twin bedrooms leading from the lounge. All rooms have convectors and there are wood burning stoves in the kitchen and lounge areas.
Both the upper and lower kitchen areas are equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, double sink unit, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, tiled work surfaces and a number of storage units and cupboards.
All bed linen is provided. There is underfloor heating in the upper apartment with convectors in all rooms of the house. There are log burning stoves and wood is kept covered in the front garden.
There is a separate entrance to the cave which is fully insulated and tiled with storage space for skis, bicycles etc. In the cave there is also the washing machine, barbeque equipment and garden furniture.
